Service Description

- The Full Fitness Assessment includes a comprehensive health screening and fitness evaluation that uses questionnaires and physical tests to assess an individual's fitness and lifestyle. The assessment includes measuring health indicators like resting heart rate, blood pressure, and body composition, and evaluating muscular fitness, flexibility, and aerobic capacity. After your assessment goals and action plans will be discussed. Whether you are interested in signing up for personal training services, taking your results to your own trainer, or are assessing your physical well being. Components of the assessment: Health screening: This involves using tools to screen for health conditions and gathers information on physical activity and other lifestyle behaviors, such as healthy eating and sedentary time. Anthropometry: Measurements of your body, such as weight, height, and body composition (fat mass and fat-free mass) are taken. Muscular fitness: This includes assessments of muscular strength, endurance, and flexibility, often using tests like the sit-and-reach and back-scratch for flexibility. Aerobic fitness: The assessment includes submaximal aerobic fitness tests, such as a modified Canadian Aerobic Fitness Test (mCAFT), which involves stepping up and down to a set beat while your heart rate is monitored. Balance and functional movement: These may also be assessed as part of the evaluation.
